Planning a church wedding in the Netherlands doesn’t get more atmospheric than Sint-Janskerk in Gouda. For this Indonesian/Dutch celebration – welcoming loved ones flying in from Jakarta, we designed a romantic, all-white floral story that let the church’s beautiful copper floor take center stage. Think airy textures, soft petals, and an elegant palette that felt serene and sophisticated from aisle to altar.
To complement the grandeur of Sint-Janskerk, we kept the styling clean and tonal: clustered white florals with delicate greenery and refined candles so the copper floor could glow. The result: a quietly luxurious setting where every step down the aisle felt intentional and intimate.
After the “I do”, guests transitioned seamlessly to a standing reception held inside the church. We transformed a section of the nave into a vignette that evoked a picturesque French street – complete with bistro-style seating and small café tables to encourage mingling and relaxed conversation. The look was chic yet effortless, bridging ceremony elegance with a convivial, European ambiance.
